It was a season of new beginnings for a young family of five; Mom, Dad, six-year-old twins, and little Andrew. They had just settled into their new home in Oswego, NY, and were celebrating Andrew’s kindergarten graduation. A milestone marking all the bright years ahead.

But beneath the joy, Andrew’s mom sensed something wasn’t right. Weeks of appointments followed. Then one day, she noticed one of his eyes turning as he looked straight ahead.

Her fear was confirmed. An MRI revealed the unthinkable: a tumor. At just six years old, Andrew was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer.
