Ilijah was 17 years old when he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (rare bone cancer). Bone scans later revealed that Ilijah had lesions on his lungs, right hip, shoulder, and spine. It was that very moment that we had a long fight and journey ahead, but he was up for the challenge.
He was such a positive and upbeat person, always smiling, and he had such a big heart.
